About: Joey Conrad, a Bob Lowry, Mary Litchfield and Vanetta Ridgeway Scholar, graduated cum laude from Colorado State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s in political science and history. As an undergraduate, Joey had several internships, including the emergency manager's office in Larimer County Colorado, where he helped to create a database of personnel who could respond during times the county was facing a disaster such as fire or a flood. Another internship involved Joey working as a legislative aide to Colorado state representative James Wilson. During his time there, he focused on local government legislation. During his time with the Center of Public Deliberation at Colorado State University, a focus of Joey’s was community involvement.
