About: Elizabeth Andrews, a Richard Chesney scholar, graduated May 2017 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Kansas. For two years in her early college career, Elizabeth had been an active staff member for the Midwest and Metro Kansas City Model United Nations conferences, and a delegate for the New York City National Model United Nations conferences. While attending KU, Elizabeth has worked for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office, the Office of the Provost, and as a Transfer Student Ambassador with the Office of Admissions. In her undergraduate senior year at KU, she has served the Kansas State Legislature as an intern for Representative Burroughs of Kansas District 33. She is also an inducted member of the National Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha. Currently, Elizabeth is a city management intern at her hometown, the City of Tonganoxie, Kansas.
